An exciting opportunity has arisen for an IT Project Manager to join our leading Medical Reporting Organisation. As MLA continues to grow and expand into new markets, we require an experienced IT Project Manager to lead various challenging and interesting projects.

The IT Project Manager will be responsible for all project delivery elements to specific levels of time, budget, and quality. This will include implementation, development of existing provisions and general IT transformation projects running within the business.

This is a challenging opportunity that will involve working under pressure to deadlines and constantly striving to achieve targets. The position is based in our office in Liverpool City Centre.

Key tasks and responsibilities:

  • Visually construct and present visual project plans and timelines and be able to communicate them to Management
  • Effectively keep on track with required tasks
  • Effectively access and flag risk to Management
  • Manage IT Projects from commencement to completion
  • Effective procurement ensuring supplier contracts contain all necessary terms
  • Identify and access ways of making project management processes more effective and lean within the business
  • To maintain a working knowledge of latest project management methods and techniques
  • Working with Management and third parties in a fast-paced, yet supportive environment
  • Weekly reporting to Management

Personal Specification:

The following skills must be evident from the letter of application of any potential candidate;

  • Excellent communicator
  • Good influencing and negotiation skills both with internal stakeholders and external suppliers
  • Excellent personal time management abilities combined with ability to manage stakeholders and suppliers to deliver in line with project targets
  • Problem-solving and creativity in designing workable solutions
  • Strong analysis and decision-making skills with keen attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Understanding that customer satisfaction is paramount
  • Experience of legal software (ideally proclaim) (preferred but not required)


  • Salary £45,000 – £60,000 depending on experience
  • 25.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
