Introducing MLA’s Senior Leadership Team

If you’re a long-time MLA customer, you’ll have noticed a few changes around here. We’re branching out into new services, offering the same depth of knowledge, expertise and support that built our reputation in the personal injury market to people who need reports on housing conditions.

Doing more for our customers means having the right people in place to make up our senior leadership team. The kind of committed, knowledgeable experts that can deliver the level of service you’re used to.

Luckily, we’ve found some of that commitment and knowledge right here, with a number of internal promotions, backed up by some great new hires.

Let’s introduce you to our senior leadership team.

Erin McBride, Operations Director

Erin is a familiar face at MLA - and someone we’ve featured on our blog before. When we first introduced her, Erin was our Head of Operations, but we’re delighted to announce she’s now our Operations Director.

With her years of experience in the PI sector, background as a solicitor, and time served as our Expert Liaison and Industrial Disease Manager before moving into operations, Erin was the clear choice to keep quality high as we branch out into new areas of operation.

With years of experience across various roles, I’m excited to help drive our growth while maintaining the high standards our clients rely on. I’m looking forward to the opportunities ahead and continuing to work with such a great team."

Julie Usher, Commercial Director

Another long-serving member of the MLA team, before her five year (and counting) time in our Liverpool offices, Julie headed up Insurer Claims for a solicitors firm and spent 20 years as an associate dealing with claimant personal injuries.

It’s safe to say that when it comes to the PI side of our business, Julie knows her stuff. It’s this kind of hard-won institutional knowledge that makes MLA’s service so respected and highly regarded around the UK, so we’re glad that she’s decided to keep developing her career here with us.

Gary Edwards, Financial Controller

Gary’s been a member of the MLA team for 25 years, keeping tabs on our financial performance and making sure everything runs smoothly. Originally stepping up to the plate when our previous Finance Manager left, you wouldn’t know from Gary’s expertise and skill that he’s learned on the job!

A natural problem solver and maths whizz, Gary’s focus on efficiency and effectiveness will be crucial as we develop our services supporting customers all across the UK.

Although I stepped into the Finance Manager role without formal training, my passion for problem-solving and efficiency has kept me growing alongside the company. Joining Erin, Julie and Gary are the two newest members of our leadership team. Viktorija and Colin.

Viktorija Zinyte, Operations Administrator

Another financial expert with a degree in accounting and finance, Viktorija is a recent addition to our team. Drawing on her experience handling audits and working for a high street bookmaker, choosing Viktorija to bring an extra level of expertise to our administration and operations team certainly wasn’t a gamble.
